Privacy Policy for Dehome Publishing

Diana Donaldson, DBA Dehome Publishing (“us”, “we”, or “our”) owns and independently operates dehompublishing.com (the “Service”). This document informs you of our policies for the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use the Service. 

Our Service provides a collection of free and paid resources that require basic “Personally Identifiable” information for fulfillment.

Information We Process

Paid Services: When you purchase products from the Service we collect the following “Personally Identifiable” information: customer name, email, billing address, and payment information. Billing information will be deleted after 6 months of purchase. Contact name and email are retained in a client relationship management system for 1.5 years from the last point of sale, free service download, or email open date.

Free Resources: Personally identifiable information: Full Name and Email Address is retained and deleted after 1.5 years from the fulfillment date of the last resource.

Membership Sign-up: Information collected: Name, Email Address, Billing Details necessary to process your order. 

General Website Use: We regularly review non-identifiable (cannot be traced to a specific user) data from the Service to understand areas of our website that work or need improvement. We follow instructions provided by our provider to prevent PII from being gathered. Data we monitor includes approximated geographic location, page view patterns, and where links are being clicked. Another term for this data type is “Log Data” which is connected to a user’s IP Address. This data is reported to us through Cookies and UTM codes for on-click events. Thank you to all who accept our terms so that we can help you better. 

Service Providers

Our third-party service providers are integrated for operational and eCommerce systems. This includes an industry-standard CRM, WooCommerce plugins, and MailerLite email streams.

Your Rights and Do Not Track Information:  

Paid, Free, or General Use: To remove your data earlier than the stated duration, please email support@dehompublishing.com; your information will be deleted within 24 hours from receipt of the request. 

Delete tracking: To delete cookies from your browser and set permissions, go to your browser Settings and toggle to “Privacy and Security.” Each browser may be different. While we are unable to delete data from previous sessions, 

Email Lists: On all subscribed email lists you are on,  any emails you receive are equipped with a visible Unsubscribe button.

Who Processes Your Information

Diana Donaldson, DBA Dehome Publishing, independently manages data received and is responsible for furnishing all email correspondence. Subscriptions offered are detailed in this document. The Service does not currently have any subscriptions offered. We will never sell or share information with anyone outside our company.

We Protect Information Collected

GDPR Compliance: the Service saves the following personally identifiable information name, email, and/or phone for adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purpose (‘data minimization’). Membership Information

Dehome Publishing offers a membership program focused in art and creative writing. Any art and creative writing content you supply through online forms, emails, social media pages, groups, or display of products created in any live online event is your property. Dehome Publishing may request formally: programmatic feedback relating to Dehome Publishing services and products, reviews posted on Google, or social media channels. The content in these reviews may be used by Dehome Publishing for promotional purposes unless specified otherwise by the user. We respect your wish to remain completely anonymous. If you find a review online that you wish to have us removed please email support@dehomepublishing.com and we will have it removed immediately (please allow up to 48 hours). 

Security

We employ 2-Step Authorization on our platforms at any time possible. The payment gateway we selected was chosen for its high-grade security protocols and protections. While we wish we could, dehompublishing.com cannot guarantee with 100% certainty any digital experience over the Internet and continue to keep systems updated.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We are committed to not purposely sending you to an insecure website.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service serves adults and does not directly address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us and we will assure this data is deleted immediately upon receiving notice. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information immediately.

We Uphold our Duty to Abide by the Legal System

Personal Information will be disclosed where required by law or subpoena.

Document Changes 

Our Privacy Policy is updated to respond to new internet security protocols. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
